Do I need to own a horse to ride here?

No. You don’t need to own a horse, but you should intend to half‑lease, lease, or purchase in the near future. We offer a few school horses for lessons while you decide.

Does it matter if I do hunters or jumpers?

No. We specialize in hunters, jumpers, and equitation — clients compete in all three.

Can I send my horse just for training?

Yes. We accept horses at all levels for professional training and development.

Does JET Stone offer straight boarding:

No. We only offer board and training. This is primarily a training and showing facility.

Do I have to attend every show?

No. Most clients choose which shows to attend. We are a show barn, so regular showing is recommended to get the most from our program.

Can I use my own vet and farrier?

Yes. You may use your own providers, but you’ll be responsible for scheduling and handling. Most clients use our preferred vet and onsite farrier.

Are lessons private or group?

Most lessons are private. Small groups are available on request.

Do most clients go to Florida for the winter circuit?

Yes. We have a farm in Ocala; many clients send horses for the three‑month circuit and fly in as needed. Ocala offers permanent stalls and extensive turnout to keep horses sound and happy.

Are there barn hours?

No. We offer flexible access to accommodate work, school, and travel time. We do ask people to be respectful of turnout and feeding schedules, lesson times, and residents/staff that live on property when planning their ride times.

Can I ship in for lessons and/or training rides?

Yes. We accept ship ins and also clients meeting us at shows.
